Have you ever looked at your calendar and instead of being excited by the discovery calls booked on there…you have this feeling of dread?

Because you’re wondering whether this next set of calls is gonna be just like the last set, which all ended in something like this:

>>> “I’d love to work with you, you’re awesome…but I just can’t afford it right now. Maybe next year when I get my finances straightened out.”

>>> “I’ve already spent money on coaches and didn’t get any results, so I can’t justify spending more money right now.”

Or my personal favorite…

>>> “I wasn’t expecting it would be that much and I just don’t have the money for that. Is there any way you could split that up into 10 payments?”

It’s so discouraging, right?

You’re doing everything you can to attract clients and book calls…but all those calls seem to be with broke people…or people who just want to pick your brain for free.

And you keep wondering, why are they all booking calls with ME?

How come everyone else seems to be signing clients, but I just keep getting the ones with no money?

It starts to mess with your head…

I know because I’ve been there…

I once did 8 discovery calls in a row that ended in some variation of “I can’t afford it.”

It was soul-destroying…

Every time I did another call I lost a little more confidence in myself…

It just got worse and worse…

After the 5th rejection I was in a major downward spiral…dreading the next call…and the next…

Questioning everything I was doing on those calls…reading up on how to do them better…trying to fix whatever was wrong…

Until finally I realized, it wasn’t about what I was doing on the calls…it was about what I was doing to attract these potential clients in the first place.

It’s like I’d created this big magnet that only attracted broke people and repelled the quality clients.

I’d built a low-ticket funnel but was expecting to attract high-ticket clients.

And I found out the hard way: it doesn’t work.

It was kinda like I was offering a free night at a Motel 6 and thinking that would make someone want to pay for two-week vacation at a Ritz Carlton.

The bottom line: If you want to attract high-ticket clients, you need a high-ticket funnel.

You want to pack out your 5-star hotel with 5-star clients? You need to make a 5-star offer.

And once I realized that and fixed it, everything changed.

>> Instead of “I can’t afford it” I started hearing, “Awesome, how soon can we start?” on my calls.

>> The string of “No’s” on my discovery calls turned into a string of “Yes’s!” and I was consistently booking high-ticket clients.

>> I stopped dreading my calls and started looking forward to them.

And this can be you, too!

You CAN be working with premium clients who WANT to pay your premium prices to work with you.

So let’s fix this so you can stop dreading your discovery calls or discounting your prices or splitting up your payments over the next year just to get some paying clients in the door…

On that call, I’ll show you exactly how you can stop attracting broke people or free-advice seekers, and start talking to only the high-quality, cream-of-the-crop clients who are ready and able to move forward with you.

P.S. I talk to a lot of coaches/consultants who think they have to be better at selling to convert more discovery calls. But if you do this right, and attract the right people, you don’t need to sell on your calls at all. There is a better way to fill your coaching practice with quality clients: https://www.alexbratty.com/applynow
